How can we help?
Email us at hello@getmileback.com. A person reads every message, usually within a day. Beta members: include “beta” in the subject and you go to the front of the queue.
How does MileBack find miles I never received?
We read the flight confirmations already in your inbox (read-only) and check each flown flight for evidence the miles posted. The strongest signal: a flight with no frequent-flyer number anywhere on the ticket almost never got credited. We show you what it is likely worth and prepare the airline claim for you.
Does MileBack file the claim for me?
No — and that is deliberate. We prepare everything (flight, ticket number, your program number, the right form link) so filing takes about two minutes on the airline’s own site, in your own account. We never ask for or store an airline password, and we never submit anything on your behalf.
Why do my estimates show a range instead of an exact number?
Airlines decide final crediting, and mile values vary by how you redeem. We would rather show you an honest range than a precise-looking guess.
The airline declined my claim. What now?
Open the claim in the app to see the reason and the suggested next step. Common fixes: the name or date of birth on your program profile must match the ticket exactly, or a boarding pass is needed for partner flights. Some claims are genuinely out of window. We tell you that plainly.
Why do I have to reconnect Gmail every week? (beta)
During the closed beta, Google limits test apps to 7-day access tokens. The weekly re-connect disappears when we complete Google’s production verification at public launch.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by the App Store or Google Play, so cancelling is instant and does not need our permission: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store → Payments & subscriptions. Finding and claiming your miles stays free either way.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete account. Or use the web path at getmileback.com/delete-account. Deletion removes everything identifiable; it cannot be undone.
