Terms of Service

MileBack reads your airline emails to detect flights you flew that likely weren't credited to your loyalty account, estimates what those miles are worth, and helps you file a claim with the airline.

We are a tool, not an agent. We prepare the claim and guide you through the airline's own process, but you file the claim yourself. We never file on your behalf, never log into your airline accounts, and never contact airlines as you.

Whether miles actually post is the airline's decision, under the airline's rules. We do not control it and cannot guarantee it.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. You sign in with Google or Apple; keep that account secure, since it controls your MileBack account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the loyalty details you add and for following your airline loyalty program's own terms. You may delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy and our deletion page.

The founding-member offer is a one-time $99 purchase, sold only on this website, limited to the first 100 members. It grants Lifetime Pro access and a founding-member badge.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the MileBack service — for as long as we operate it — not a personal-lifetime guarantee, and not a promise the service will run forever. If we ever discontinue MileBack, Lifetime access ends with the service. The founding price is honored for founding members and won't be raised on you.

Founding purchases are made here via Stripe. Once you buy, sign in to the app with the same email and your Lifetime Pro entitlement is applied to your account.

Pro is available as a subscription — $6.99/month or $49.99/year— purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel, and you cancel through your app store's subscription settings, not through us. Billing, renewals, and refunds for app-store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.

Reclaiming miles is always free. Pro unlocks additional features; it is never required to find or file a reclaim.

• Our mile counts and dollar values are estimate ranges, not promises of what you'll receive.
• We can't guarantee an airline will credit any given claim. Airlines decide, on their own timelines and rules.
• We may miss flights or misread an email. Detection is best-effort, not exhaustive.
• MileBack is not a financial service and gives no financial, investment, or tax advice. Miles and their value are informational only.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any airline or loyalty program. Airline names are used only to identify your flights.

Use MileBack only for your own accounts and flights. Don't misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer it, or use it to submit false claims. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or abuse the service.

MileBack is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for miles an airline declines to credit, or for decisions you make based on our estimates. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms as MileBack evolves. If we make material changes, we'll give reasonable notice. Continuing to use MileBack after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
